About

Lidija Kamansky is a fine art landscape and nature photographer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. With a camera in her hands since childhood, she’s always been more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it.  Her passion for photography solidified in the late ’90s, when she took her first formal classes and realized this was her calling.  Over the years, Lidija has honed her craft across the diverse landscapes of the American Southwest, Pacific Northwest, and many of our iconic National Parks. Her work has been seen in The Seattle Times, Outdoor Photographer, and National Geographic. Through her lens, Lidija invites viewers to experience the raw beauty of nature, capturing fleeting moments in time with a fine art approach that celebrates both the vastness and intimacy of the natural world.

“My photography is a reflection of my deep connection to nature and the joy I find in immersing myself in the great outdoors. The ever-changing moods of the landscape—the shifting light, the evolving seasons—are what continually draw me back outside. Each moment spent in nature fuels my desire to capture its beauty through my lens, preserving these fleeting experiences to share with others.  As an artist, my aim is not only to showcase the awe-inspiring scenes I encounter, but also to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world. I hope my work encourages viewers to explore, protect, and cherish the landscapes that sustain us all.”
